I have studied art, made art and taught art my whole life. Making pictures has been part of who am as far back as I can remember. I drew as achild, then painted and made things with my hands as a response to what I saw and what I needed to do to interpret the world.
In my journals I continue to record the world through drawing and writing. I paint abstractions as a response to what inspires me. The subject of my paintings may be what I see, what I feel and think or most likely, a combination of the three . They are my response to the world in color, form and gesture.
